JB Fung and his team were invaluable in helping us sell our parents' mid-century modern home in Sherman Oaks. They did a great job of staging with the existing furniture, telling us what to keep and where to put it (and what to hide). They are very savvy marketers and negotiators. They knew how to get potential buyers excited and keep the excitement up, and how to get the best possible price. They knew the difference between newbie and experienced realtors and how and what to what to expect from them. Their considerable experience was reinforced by others at Compass, helping us avoid potential pitfalls. They kept us informed along the way and allowed us to make the decisions with their guidance. We came to JB and his team with a long and very specific laundry list of must-haves at a nearly impossible price range for a mid-century modern home. This was at the height of a competitive market, a shortage of inventory and when a bidding war was a normal part of the home buying process. Through their extensive knowledge in the real estate market and appreciation for architecture, they helped us purchase our perfect home in a multiple offer scenario with relative ease. They are extremely patient, ever optimistic and a pleasure to work with. Despite the frenzied pace in which their business continues to grow, they were never too busy to respond quickly to every email, phone call and text. All the effort and attention they invested into helping us find our home made us feel as though we were their only client. Long after the purchase of our home, they continue to stay in touch and ask how we are doing, which speaks for their genuine concern for their clients. JB Fung is a tremendous negotiator. He protected our interest like a pit bull! Not only did JB sell our condo at full asking price, he put us in a fantastic home we never thought we could afford. He listened to our needs and found us a gorgeous 1925 Spanish duplex filled with old world details. His consideration did not end at close of escrow, he stayed in touch, making sure we were completely satisfied with our property. He was always there for us.
