The Schustack Residence – 1957 – by architect Howard Lane. Originally a student of Mies van der Rohe in Chicago, the designs of Lane’s Los Angeles firm were known mostly through commercial buildings such as the Neo-Streamline Moderne Travelers Insurance Building on Ventura Boulevard.
